Quintons Commercial Property Agents report a slower than normal September, despite reporting an increase in viewing numbers. This has been put down to extended holidays from the schools, and various local events to include Greenham Trusts 20th Anniversary and Newbury Show.

Quintons completed the sale of a workshop / warehouse unit in Express Way, Newbury during September. The property quickly went under offer when it came to the market which highlights the strong demand from owner occupiers. On the investment front, Quintons have sold the final two units at Norman House. Norman House comprises 7 units all of which are let and have been sold to individual pension funds or owner occupiers. The final two exceeded their asking prices by some way highlighting the strength of the investment market, people again using their pension funds to purchase property which gives a better return than most.

We received instructions to market a number of new properties to include 38a Bartholomew Street, Newbury.
