Quintons Commercial Property Agents report a busy August which is traditionally quiet.

Quintons recent deals that have completed in August are as follows:-

On the lettings front Quintons have let 2 Kendrick House, Wharf Street, Newbury to a lifestyle shop called B. The shop is open and trading, check out Newbury’s newest independent shop!

In terms of sales Quintons completed the sale of Sherwood House, London Road, Newbury in August. The space totals 6,000 sq. ft. and includes 27 parking spaces. The property has been sold for conversion to residential, which is unfortunate for the local office stock which at the moment is in ever decreasing supply.

Quintons have also sold a light industrial unit in Express way, Newbury. The space totalled 6,045 sq. ft. of buildings plus a useful self-contained yard to the rear. The property achieved a strong price, which continues to prove the strength of the market from owner occupiers looking to purchase.

The strength of the owner occupier market continues with an Investment property sold by Quintons at Norman House, Hambridge Road, Newbury. The space totals 2,600 sq. ft. and is let with rent being paid for a further 9 years. The property sold for well in excess of the asking price of £160,000.
